Your life expectancy can be extended substantially if you make sure you are doing all you can to build and maintain your physical health.
The foundation is simple: de-stress, get plenty of exercise, maintain healthy relationships, make healthy food choices – and sleep enough !
Psalms 127:2 ( AMPC)
It is vain for you to rise up early, to take rest late, to eat the bread of [anxious] toil—for He gives [blessings] to His beloved in sleep.
There is a difference between being active and exercising. It is true that it is far better to have an active life than to lead a sedentary life.
But when you exercise you raise your heart 💓 rate and benefit more. Regular daily exercise can reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, and obesity.
Exercise keeps you flexible and makes it easier for you to move. Your outlook is improved. Stress, anxiety & depression no longer dwells in you!
It is important to make exercise a habit so you will stick with it.
Avoid exercise close to bedtime. Physical activity late in the day can affect your body’s ability to relax into peaceful slumber.
Also, do not overload your body with sugary foods and carbohydrates that will elevate your insulin to unsafe levels.
3 John 1:2 (AMPC)
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
